Welcome to Valentina Conotter homepage
Valentina Conotter was born in 1982 in Trento. In 2004 she received the Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Trento with the thesis: “Development of an advanced graphical interface for rapid prototyping of image processing and visual inspection tools”.
During the academic year 2005-2006 she spent six month in Finland with the project “Erasmus”, studying at the Tampere University of Technology. In 2007 she obtained the Master degree in Telecommunication Engineering with special attention at multimediality, at the University of Trento, with the thesis: “Ga-based robustness evaluation method for digital image watermarking”.
In November 2007 she started to attend the ICT International Doctorate School within the Dept. of Engineering and Computer Science – DISI – of University of Trento.
Her research activity is mainly focused on security of multimedia signal processing, with particular attention on digital watermarking, data hiding and digital forensics techniques.
